1. How to pack glass bottle samples?

To ensure the safe packaging of glass bottle samples, follow these steps:

Use a suitable carton box:

Choose a carton box size based on the number and size of the glass bottle samples. Common sizes include 200x180x100mm, 250x200x180mm, 300x250x200mm, 360x300x250mm, 530x320x230mm, and 700x400x320mm. Select a box that provides a snug fit for the samples.

For example, if we just sent one 750ml bottle sample we can choose carton NO.2, if we sent 2 750ml glass bottles we can choose carton No.3.

Choose a carton box that is spacious enough to accommodate the wrapped glass bottles along with additional padding. It is crucial to select a box that is sturdy and devoid of any holes or tears. While it may be tempting to reuse a carton box for packing, it is advisable to opt for a new box specifically for glass bottles. New boxes provide superior strength and offer better protection against external shocks, ensuring the safety of the bottles during transit.

Find a second carton box

To provide extra security, use a larger box. This second box should be about 15cm larger in each dimension than the inner box. It allows for additional padding and protection. To make your packaging extra secure, it’s a good idea to put glass bottles inside 2 layers of boxes. Look for a box that will leave room for about 7.6cm of padding on each side of the smaller box when it is placed inside. 

Seal the bottom of both boxes:

Use packing tape, at least 2 inches (5.1 cm) wide, to seal the bottom of both the inner and outer boxes. Fold opposing flaps together and tape them securely. Apply tape down the middle where the outer flaps meet, creating an "H" shape. Consider taping the inner flaps as well for added security.

Line the bottom of the larger box:

Create a layer of packing material, such as packing confetti or bubble wrap, at least 3 inches (7.6 cm) deep in the larger box. This layer will act as cushioning during transit.

Wrap the bottles individually:

Wrap each glass bottle sample individually with bubble wrap. For small bubble wrap, wrap each bottle at least four times around, and for large bubble wrap, two times should be sufficient. Ensure that each bottle has about 3 inches (7.6 cm) of bubble wrap surrounding it. Use tape or rubber bands to secure the bubble wrap in place.

Wrap the bottles individually:

Wrap each glass bottle sample individually with bubble wrap. For small bubble wrap, wrap each bottle at least four times around, and for large bubble wrap, two times should be sufficient. Ensure that each bottle has about 3 inches (7.6 cm) of bubble wrap surrounding it. Use tape or rubber bands to secure the bubble wrap in place.

2. How to Packaging for Wholesale Orders? 

Pallet packing

How to transport the products?

1) For sample: we choose DHL, FedEx, UPS, Postal, etc. It’s about 3-7 days to the customer’s place.

2) For wholesale: it’s needed by sea, it’s about 30-50 days to different countries.

Also, some customers will choose land transportation.

How to reduce the loss during transportation?

It is important to note that reusing old carton boxes is not advisable as they may not provide sufficient protection for the glass items. This is particularly significant when shipping to distant countries to prevent breakage of the bottles.

When combining carton box and pallet packing, it is recommended to securely fasten everything using stretch film. This will facilitate convenient and reliable transportation.
